WHAT IS THE GYROTONIC® METHODOLOGY...

The GYROTONIC® methodology allows users to stretch and strengthen muscles, whilst simultaneously stimulating and strengthening connecting tissues in and around the joints of the body. These exercises are synchronized with corresponding breathing patterns, thus enhancing aerobic and cardiovascular stimulation and promoting neuro-muscular rejuvenation.

GYROTONIC® exercises increase the functional capacity of the body in a natural and unforced way to promote a balanced flow of energy and clearer perception of the senses.

By improving circulation, stimulating the nervous system and mobilizing the spine it extends the body to function beyond its regular parameters, creating both harmony and balance together with a general sense of well-being.

Exercises are generally performed on the Professional Pulley Tower; the system is fully adjustable and can meet the needs of all heights, body types and levels of strength. The exercises work with a circularity of movement enhancing spherical awareness and enabling the user to take full advantage of the tower’s variable controlled resistance.

This revolutionary technique is constantly being refined and requires constant updating of skills for teachers to retain membership of the GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM®.
